Private Workshops

Celebrate, connect, and create with a private cake decorating workshop at Velvet Lane Cakes & Café. Our private bookings are designed for groups looking for a fun, interactive experience while learning professional decorating techniques from our team.

Private birthday workshops are a memorable way to celebrate with friends and family. Guests will be guided step by step through decorating their own cake in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Food and drinks can also be arranged to make the experience even more special.

Corporate workshops offer a unique team building activity that encourages creativity and collaboration. These sessions can be hosted at our café or at your office, where our team will travel on site to lead the workshop. They are ideal for team celebrations, client events, staff appreciation, and company gatherings.

Private bookings require a minimum of 10 guests and can accommodate up to 25 participants, with some flexibility depending on the event.

Workshop Cancellation Policy

All workshop bookings are final.

Cancellations made less than 1 week before the scheduled workshop, as well as no show bookings, will result in the full forfeiture of the booking. No refunds, credits, or rescheduling will be provided. Due to the nature of our workshops, all materials, ingredients, and preparation are completed in advance. As a result, we are unable to accommodate last minute changes. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to another guest. Please notify us of the name change prior to the workshop. By completing your booking, you acknowledge and agree to this cancellation policy.
